This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect on the Interiokeys platform, how we use and protect it, and your rights under applicable laws (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). By using Interiokeys, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in order to provide and improve our services. The types of data we collect include:

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and (if applicable) company details. We may verify your phone/email to secure your account.
Profile and Content: For builders and professionals, you may provide company profiles, project descriptions, photos, testimonials, and other media. We also collect any content you upload (listings data, reviews, ratings).
Communications: We store your communications with us, including support emails to support@interiokeys.com and responses.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, such as IP addresses, device identifiers, browser type, access times, and pages viewed. This helps us diagnose issues and improve the platform.

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, we do not retain personal data beyond the duration necessary to provide our services; data will be erased once the purpose is fulfilled and no longer needed.

For user-generated content (listings, reviews), even if you delete your account, we may keep anonymous or aggregated records (e.g. an anonymized review without your name) for integrity and legal compliance.

6. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:

Access and Portability: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: You can update or correct inaccurate information in your account profile at any time.
Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account or withdraw consent (for non-legal obligations). Upon request, we will delete your personal data, unless we must retain it by law.
Restriction: You can request that we limit processing of your data if there is a dispute over accuracy or necessity.
Objection: You can object to processing of your data for direct marketing or other purposes, if the basis of processing is not your consent.

Most user control can be exercised by editing your profile, adjusting notification settings, or deleting your account through the Service.

This includes encryption of sensitive data (such as login credentials and payment information), secure servers, and industry-standard access controls.
