Front Landscape with Stone Water Wall and Crane Sculptures
About Front Landscape Interiors
Common questions from homeowners.
It is the tall stacked-stone wall with water sheeting down it into a still pool at the base. With the two golden crane figures standing in the water, it makes a calm, striking welcome at the entrance.
Yes, water runs down the rough stone face and collects in a black granite pool below, so you get both the look and the gentle sound of moving water. The dark pool base also gives a nice mirror-like reflection.
There is trailing greenery spilling over the top of the wall with clusters of pink flowers, plus neatly clipped hedges on either side. The greenery softens all the stone and keeps it looking fresh.
It is fairly easy — the pump keeps the water circulating and the planting is kept trimmed. An occasional clean of the pool and a check on the pump is usually all it needs.
You can. The stone cladding, pool and sculptures can all be sized to suit your entrance and budget. Share your site photos with the designer and they can plan a version that fits.
