Home Theatre with Recliners and Projector Screen
About Home Theatre Interiors
Common questions from homeowners.
It runs on a big projection screen with a projector mounted on the ceiling, rather than a regular TV. That gives you a proper cinema-sized picture for movie nights.
There is a raised row of tan leather recliners at the back with cup-holder consoles, and a low pink velvet lounge platform in front. So you can either recline formally or sprawl out casually.
One side has tufted and ribbed acoustic panels that help soften the sound, while another wall is left in exposed brick for character. Together they keep the room both good-sounding and good-looking.
The ceiling has a geometric design with recessed spotlights and cove lighting, plus a ceiling AC and the projector. You can dim it right down so nothing distracts from the screen.
A dedicated room helps, but the idea scales. You can do a single recliner row and a screen in a smaller space. Share your room size and the designer will plan the acoustics and seating.
