The arch on the headboard is picked up again in the curved plaster moulding on the walls, the oval ceiling tray and even the rounded wood cabinet and wavy mirror. Repeating one shape is a way to make a large room feel planned rather than a collection of separate pieces. Each curve answers the others, so the eye moves around smoothly. In a big master bedroom that single idea does a lot to hold everything together.

A floating fluted counter in white serves as the dressing table, topped by a backlit mirror cut in a soft wavy outline. Wall size and the paper you pick set the figure, so it helps to order a sample and check how the print reads at full height first.

It does ask for more care than a darker room. Pale marble-look flooring and cream upholstery show dust, footmarks and the odd spill more readily, so the room rewards a regular light clean over letting things build up. Sealing the marble helps it resist stains, and a treated or wipeable fabric on the seating ages better than a delicate weave. If very low upkeep is the priority, deeper tones on the floor or seats would hide marks better.

The idea travels well even if the scale does not. You can keep the arched headboard and one curved element, say the ceiling tray or the mirror, rather than repeating the shape everywhere. The wallpaper feature wall works at any width. Drop the window seat or the separate dressing counter if floor space is tight, and let the wall-mounted TV and floating units do the work. The key is one strong curve, not five competing ones.
