2BHK Villa/Bungalow
Conceived by Studio Timescape, Seeta Damodaram is guided by the belief that architecture, like music, is not about form alone — it is about emotion, rhythm, and resonance. The intent was to create a home that feels lived-in and felt, not curated. Every element carries the honesty of its material — the grain of wood, the coolness of stone, the tactility of lime, the depth of earth.
The home celebrates a deeply Indian essence — rooted in craft, built with natural stone, and elevated by a sense of soulful simplicity. The design is layered but never loud, contemporary yet grounded in its cultural soil.
The home feels like an acoustic composition — each material a note, each space a pause.
Built on a 40’ × 69’ north-facing site, the home opens to a lush green lawn and a quiet stone-clad entry that immediately slows the pace of arrival. The Kota stone and Black Kadappa flooring ground the entrance in a familiar rawness, while the staircase clad in Mandala Red adds a warm visual anchor to the elevation. The surrounding walls finished in lime-wash grey concrete bring balance and calm, creating a composed interplay of warmth and neutrality.
Planters and tropical greens soften the hard edges, turning the approach into an experience of stillness and welcome — a prelude to the home’s quiet, soulful rhythm.
At the entrance, architecture pauses — allowing nature to take the lead.
